GF for LF – days 6 and 7

I made some more rice.

Thursday:

Breakfast:  brown rice, milk, maple syrup

Lunch:  leftover shepherd’s pie from Tuesday

Dinner:  chicken & green chile enchilada casserole

Friday:

Breakfast:  brown rice, milk, maple syrup  (this needs a name. Besides “weird” which is what my sister said.)

Lunch:  leftover shepherd’s pie from Tuesday (the last of it), salad, balsamic vinaigrette

Snack:  cake.  Gluten-free fail.  Damn cake day at work.

Dinner:  cioppino, loosely based on this recipe.  Also some chebe rolls that I thought tasted like aluminum and Curt loved.

    My mom called leftover brown rice, heated with milk, cinnamon and maybe raisins rice pudding, but rice cereal (or get fancy and call it rice pudding cereal) seems like an apt name.
